Busiswa Gqulu, famously known as Kalawa Chikita, will feature on Episode 11 of Coke Studio Africa 2017 on Saturday the 21st of October at 6.05PM on e.tv, with Zambian hip-hop great, Slapdee. The duo collaborated to discover more about each other’s music and created something spectacular.
Ethiopian favourite, Sami Dan, and Mauritian show-stopper, Laura Beg, worked together on the Coke Studio Africa Throwback segment, while Freeda from Namibia joins forces with Ivory Coast hip-hop power group, Kiff No Beat and Madagascan music master Wawa Salegy, on this week’s big break segment.
This year, Coke Studio Africa and Coke Studio South Africa have come together into one bigger and better Coke Studio Africa 2017.
Coke Studio Africa 2017 promises to be a melting pot of musical talent, bringing together renowned music producers and top-notch artists drawn from various parts of the continent. The merger increases the number of participating countries to 16, up from 11 in the previous edition.
